The Waterford River Valley Campground provides an accessible family-friendly venue for an urban camping experience, all the while protecting a local natural legacy and Newfoundland and Labrador’s biodiversity.
Approximately 15 acres of original growth forest are nestled along the banks of the Waterford River and have been lovingly managed and sculpted to offer a forest-like experience in the heart of the City, away from the bustle of city life yet close to many amenities.
Having been in the Walker family for over 50 years, the family has chosen to protect those family memories by building an urban camping oasis committed to an environmental legacy. Join us and come celebrate living in the great outdoors.
